These servants of Cahdok and Gahdok(the Bohrok Queens) were the first real threat that the Toa faced. They are controlled by the Bohrok Queens in a type of hive mind system. The Bohrok are simply mechanical shells, and their Krana control the shells. Without a Krana a Bohrok cannot function. Bohrok can, however, throw their Krana to ensnare a Matoran or even a Toa into the hive mind of the Queens. If someone is ensnared by a Krana they become part of the methodical thought process of cleanitallitmustbecleaned. This process accounted for much of the destruction of the island of Mata Nui. The Toa Mata eventually found the Bohrok Queens and were able to trap Cahdok and Gahdok in solid Protodermis. After the Toa defeated the Bohrok Queens they fell into tubes of energized protodermis and were transformed into the Toa Nuva.
